Join us at North Lakes Hotel & Spa on Saturday 16th March 2019 for a night of stand-up comedy form some top comedians on the circuit.   It is a Stand-up For Local Charities comedy night where all proceeds will be going to Eden Animal Rescue.


The line-up is:


MC – Tony Basnett


Tony started his stand-up career whilst studying at Leeds Met University back in 2008. Originally from Hartlepool and now residing in Manchester Tony has taken the circuit by storm.  Described as an upbeat and playful comic, Tony has been seen across the country at top comedy clubs as well as performing at some of the UK’s major music festivals. With a mischievous and positive style that will get any crowd to warm to his charm.

Opener – Mike Milligan


Mike has a wealth of experience on both the national and international comedy circuits, delivering his delightfully sharp observations and quick wit to audiences from South Shields to Singapore. Equally at home at regular comedy nights, after dinner speaking, and more recently kids comedy clubs.

Middle Act – Tony Wright


Tony Wright is a Manchster based Comic who has burst on to the comedy scene. Performing his first stand up set at aged 15 in his home county of Kent, since his debut Tony has made a huge impression on the circuit, leading to a residency as warm up act for Ramsgate Music Hall’s Edinburgh preview season in June-July 2015 opening for a certain Lou Sanders.

Vince got his comedy career off to a belting start by winning the much-coveted City Life Comedian Of The Year in 2006, within his first few months; following in the footsteps of previous winners such as Caroline Aherne, Peter Kay, Jason Manford, Justin Moorhouse, John Bishop, Dave Spikey and Chris Addison. Admired by audiences and peers alike; this unique, talented and incredibly funny act has to be seen to be believed!


Vince recently supported Jason Manford on numerous dates across his epic arena tour, playing for up to 21,000 people each night. His act travels incredibly well and he headlines regularly across the UK and Europe, in cities such as Barcelona, Zagreb, Warsaw, Budapest, Belgrade, Rijeka, Ljubljana, Maribor, Porec, Pazin and Varazdin.
