Penrith Rugby Club and Conference Centre
Penrith RUFC has three senior teams, the 1st XV playing in RFU North One West, the 2nd Team playing in the Cumbria Shield and the PROPS, a social team. We also have an extensive youth section, with over 250 boys and girls between the ages of U7 to U18. We also have a flourishing Ladies section comprising of over 25 women who train regularly. We're always recruiting members so please get in touch if you would like any further information.
As well as sporting events, we also offer private hire of our functions rooms for social and corporate events. For a conference centre, being situated at an established sporting venue gives us an unusual advantage. Few venues can boast our acres of outdoor space or parking (for up to 200 cars). That combination of indoor and outdoor space can make a real difference, whether you’re organising a team building day or a birthday celebration.

Our Rooms:
A.W. Jenkinson Suite
This is our premium function room capable of accommodating up to 120 people. Recently redecorated, it is light and airy, with projector and screen facilities. The room has a large, well stocked bar serving quality beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. A dance floor option is available. Double glass doors offer access onto the front lawn.
From meetings and presentations to parties and dinner dances, this room offers everything.
Boarded Room
This multi-activity room can be used for meetings, training and seminars, but also for indoor activities, such as Pilates and keep-fit. It is also used as a dining room for the guests of the Sponsor on match days.
Sponsors' Lounge
Situated on the first floor, this room has impressive views of the Lakeland Fells and has great character. It is very popular with many our clients and can accommodate up to 30 delegates, and has its own fully stocked bar. This room is used exclusively by our Match Sponsor on match days.
