4Eden
4Eden (formally Eden Mencap Society) is a local charity which provides support services throughout the Eden Valley from our office based in Penrith. Our services specialise in learning disability and autism spectrum disorder; standard/lower level and high level/complex needs. We are able to provide a wide range of staff, trained and skilled to meet individual specific needs.
We work with our local community to provide everyday ordinary activities and experiences, focussing on the individual needs of each person. We concentrate on how we can offer a variety of opportunities to meet each person’s needs and to achieve their potential.
We are passionate about doing meaningful activities that encourage each person to be a valued part of their community. Build up their skills, interact with each other and achieve independence in as many parts of their daily lives as they are able to.
We are developing real work opportunities by creating trading arms of our organisation, understanding what people need, want and desire. We take positive risks and challenge each person to strive to reach and achieve their personal goals.
Support can be purchased via Social Service referrals, direct payments or Independent Service Fund (ISF) & continuing healthcare.
Services Include:
- 1:1/2:1 individual support to meet a persons identifed needs.
