Jubilee Cottage
Jubilee Cottage is a single storey newly converted holiday cottage with living room with kitchen, separate bedroom with king size bed, or two singles, and bathroom with bath and shower. Two large comfortable sofas, (one a sofa bed), look out through full length, full width windows over long (30ft x 10ft) sandstone terrace to Pennines. Bedroom also has French windows. With traditional stone exterior, Jubilee Cottage is very well insulated with remote controlled electric radiators, and wood burning stove. Oak floor, oak doors and skirtings with white walls make a very attractive welcoming space.
Inside the cottage
Jubilee Cottage has a small entrance hall with coat hanging space and boot storage, opening onto living room. Living room has two sofas, one a sofa bed, dining table and chairs, fully equipped kitchen along rear wall, wood burning stove, 32” flatscreen “Smart” TV with internet access, and free WiFi. West window for evening sun. Bedroom next door with French windows onto terrace. King size bed can be converted to two single beds. En-suite bathroom with wide bath with shower over. Oak floor, windows and skirtings throughout the property. The 9m x 3m elevated terrace runs the whole length of the building and is sunny both morning and evening, and is enclosed to contain pets and/or children. It has an external ramp and is screened by an oak fence from the neighbouring small campsite but has magnificent open views across the Eden Valley to Cross Fell, highest of the Pennine range.
The kitchen contains large fridge, large freezer, electric oven and hob with extractor hood, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, full range of crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment. The bathroom has an extra wide bath with power shower over. Mobile phone reception inside the cottage. A gas BBQ can be provided.
A separate utility room contains washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.
Outside
Steps from the terrace lead to a private wild flower meadow and dog exercise field.
Jubilee Cottage has a dedicated parking space beside it with easy level access throughout the property, making it ideal for customers with limited mobility. Accessible for wheel chair users with a companion.
